Cookie Policy

How Rinquest uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use the platform. Last updated 15 September 2026.

This Cookie Policy explains how Rinquest uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use the Rinquest website and platform. Rinquest is operated by Rinquest Ltd (“Rinquest”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

1

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website.

Cookies can help websites operate properly, remember preferences, maintain sessions and understand how visitors use the website.

We may also use similar technologies, such as local storage or other technologies that perform similar functions.

Currently, we use your browser’s local storage for one purpose: to remember the choice you make in our cookie banner (for example, that you accepted or rejected analytics cookies), so that we do not ask you again on your next visit.

2

How we use cookies

Rinquest may use cookies and similar technologies for purposes including:

  • keeping users signed in and maintaining account sessions;
  • protecting your account and our platform from fraudulent requests;
  • remembering preferences and settings, such as your cookie choice;
  • understanding how users interact with the platform; and
  • measuring website and platform performance and identifying technical problems.
3

Types of cookies we may use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website or platform to operate properly.

Currently, this includes a cookie that keeps you signed in, a cookie that helps protect your account and our platform from cross-site request forgery, and a cookie that remembers where to send you after signing in.

When you create an account, we also set a short-lived cookie for up to 24 hours so the email verification link can safely sign you in on the same browser. This cookie is removed once verification is complete.

Because these cookies are necessary for the operation of the service, they cannot be disabled through our cookie preference tool. You can still block or delete them through your browser settings, but parts of Rinquest — including staying signed in — will not work correctly if you do.

Functional cookies

These cookies would allow Rinquest to remember preferences and settings beyond what is needed to keep you signed in, and provide enhanced functionality.

We do not currently set any functional cookies of this kind. If we introduce one in future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before it is placed.

Analytics and performance cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors use Rinquest, for example which pages or features are used and how the platform performs.

We currently use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose. Google Analytics is not loaded, and no analytics cookies are set, until you choose “Accept all” in our cookie banner.

If you choose “Reject all”, or later withdraw consent using the “Cookie Settings” link in the website footer, we stop loading Google Analytics and remove its cookies from your browser.

Marketing cookies

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies on Rinquest.

If this changes in future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before any such cookies are placed.

4

Your choices

When you first visit Rinquest, a cookie banner lets you choose “Accept all” or “Reject all” non-essential cookies (currently, this means analytics cookies).

You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the website footer, which reopens the banner.

You can also manage or delete cookies directly through your browser settings.

Please note that disabling or rejecting certain cookies may affect the functionality of Rinquest, particularly cookies that are necessary to maintain your account or provide essential platform functionality.

5

Cookies and Personal Data

Some cookies or similar technologies may collect information that can constitute Personal Data.

Where this happens, our processing of that information is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what Personal Data we collect, why we use it, the legal bases we rely on and your rights.

6

Third-party cookies

Some cookies or similar technologies may be provided by third-party service providers that support Rinquest's website or platform.

For example, when you use address look-up features on Rinquest (powered by Google Maps) or once you accept analytics cookies (Google Analytics), Google may set its own cookies in accordance with Google's own cookie and privacy policies.

Where applicable, those providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and contractual arrangements with Rinquest.

We do not permit third parties to use Personal Data obtained through Rinquest for purposes outside those permitted by applicable law and our arrangements with them.

7

Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies and similar technologies we use, changes to our services or changes in applicable law.

The updated version will be published on the Rinquest website with its updated date.
