About Rinquest

Rinquest is a sports discovery and recruitment platform that helps players find clubs and teams and helps clubs and teams find players across a range of sports, currently focused on the UK.

Rinquest provides a platform for users to create profiles, discover relevant sporting opportunities, communicate with other users and participate in recruitment and matching activities.

Rinquest does not guarantee that a player will be selected, recruited or placed with a club or team, or that a club or team will find a suitable player.

Eligibility and younger users

Rinquest is available to younger users subject to the parental involvement and permission requirements described by Rinquest.

Where a user is under the applicable age for independently providing consent or entering into an agreement, a parent or legal guardian may be required to create, manage or provide permission for the account and use of the service.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising the use of Rinquest by younger users where appropriate and for ensuring that information provided on their behalf is accurate.

We may request information or take reasonable steps to verify parental permission where appropriate.

Creating an account

Some Rinquest services require you to create an account and profile.

You agree to:

• provide accurate and up-to-date information;
• keep your account information accurate;
• keep your login credentials secure;
• not share your account with another person where doing so is not permitted;
• notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless that activity results from circumstances outside your reasonable control.

Profiles and information

Users are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of information they provide to Rinquest.

This may include information relating to players, teams, clubs, coaches, sporting experience, preferences, availability and recruitment requirements.

You must not deliberately provide misleading, fraudulent or materially inaccurate information.

You must only provide information that you have the right to provide and that you are permitted to share through the platform.

Communications and interactions

Rinquest may allow users to communicate with other users for sporting discovery and recruitment purposes.

Users are responsible for their own communications and interactions with other users.

You must communicate respectfully and must not use Rinquest to:

• harass, threaten, intimidate or abuse another person;
• send unwanted or inappropriate communications;
• impersonate another person;
• request or share inappropriate personal information;
• engage in unlawful activity;
• distribute malicious software or harmful material; or
• attempt to circumvent Rinquest's security or access controls.

Parents and guardians should take appropriate steps to supervise communications involving younger users.

User content

You may provide information, photographs, descriptions and other content to Rinquest (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content to Rinquest, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, display and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide and improve the Rinquest platform and services.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide the User Content and that it does not infringe another person's rights or applicable law.

We may remove or restrict access to User Content where we reasonably believe that it breaches these Terms, applicable law or the safe operation of the platform.

Matching and recruitment

Rinquest may use information contained in user profiles and recruitment requirements to identify potentially relevant sporting opportunities, players, teams or clubs.

Any matching, recommendation or discovery functionality is provided to assist users. It does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement or recommendation that a particular player, team, club or opportunity is suitable.

Users are responsible for making their own decisions about whether to contact, meet, select, recruit or otherwise engage with another user.

Payments and paid services

Certain Rinquest services may be available on a paid or subscription basis.

Where applicable, the price, billing arrangements and other terms applying to a paid service will be communicated to you before you purchase or subscribe.

You agree to provide accurate billing information and to pay applicable charges when due.

We may change pricing or introduce new paid services. Any changes will be communicated in accordance with applicable law and the terms applying to the relevant service.

Acceptable use

You must not use Rinquest to:

• break the law;
• create false or misleading profiles;
• misuse another person's information;
• collect information about users for purposes unrelated to Rinquest;
• send spam or unsolicited commercial communications;
• interfere with the operation or security of the platform;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or databases;
• copy, scrape, reproduce or commercially exploit Rinquest content or functionality without our permission; or
• use Rinquest in a way that could harm another user, Rinquest or the operation of the platform.

Safeguarding

Rinquest takes the safety of younger users seriously.

If you become aware of behaviour on Rinquest that you believe is inappropriate, abusive, exploitative or otherwise unsafe, please contact us promptly.

We may investigate reports and may suspend or remove accounts or content where we consider it necessary to protect users or the platform.

Rinquest is a technology platform and does not replace appropriate parental, safeguarding, coaching or club oversight.

Intellectual property

The Rinquest platform, including its software, branding, design, text, graphics and other materials provided by Rinquest, is owned by or licensed to Rinquest and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use Rinquest only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit Rinquest's intellectual property without our prior written permission.

Availability and changes to the platform

We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue parts of Rinquest from time to time.

We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

We may carry out maintenance, updates or changes that temporarily affect availability or functionality.

Account suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that:

• these Terms have been breached;
• the account has been used fraudulently or unlawfully;
• the account presents a security or safeguarding risk; or
• suspension or termination is necessary to protect Rinquest or its users.

You may stop using Rinquest at any time.

You may also request deletion of your account in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Termination of an account does not necessarily require us to immediately delete every record where we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain information.

By using Rinquest, you acknowledge that you have been provided with access to these policies.

Third-party services and links

Rinquest may contain links to third-party websites or services.

We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their websites, services, content, security or privacy practices.

Your use of third-party services is subject to the relevant third party's terms and policies.

Disclaimers

Rinquest provides a platform for sports discovery and recruitment. We do not guarantee:

• that a particular player, club or team will be found;
• that a player will be selected or recruited;
• that a recruitment opportunity will remain available;
• the accuracy of information supplied by another user; or
• the outcome of any interaction or recruitment decision.

Users should carry out their own appropriate checks before entering into any sporting, financial or other arrangement with another user.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rinquest will not be responsible for losses arising from:

• interactions between users;
• decisions made based on information provided by other users;
• recruitment, selection or placement outcomes;
• third-party websites or services; or
• interruptions or technical failures outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Where appropriate, we will notify users of material changes. The updated version will be published on the Rinquest website with its updated date.

Your continued use of Rinquest after the effective date of updated Terms will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
